Performances of present data collection protocols were not good.A data collection tree based data collection protocol was proposed.By reducing depth of nodes and number of internal nodes in the data collection tree, the protocol tried to reduce two main kinds of energy consuming that restrict system lifetime, energy consuming of node transferring data to the base station and node idle listening.Simulations show that the protocol prolonged system lifetime by about 36%.
