A New Method for Computing the Maximal Eigenvalue of a Nonnegative Irreducible Tridiagonal Matrix

A new method about maximal eigenvalue computation of nonnegative irreducible tridiagonal matrix is given.The key of the method is to compute the iterative factor g.The g is larger than the iterative factor(r+3d)/(r+2d) in [2].So the number of the iterations is decreased and the iteration time is saved.
