Design and realization of hydrological infrastructure and equipment management system of Yangtze River

Based on WebGIS,a 3D visualization management system of hydrological infrastructure and equipment,characterized by friendly interface,simple operation and diverse data representation under the network environment,was developed. A variety of GIS data such as DEM of Yangtze River Basin,various types of images,hydrological stations,etc.,can be displayed and managed with hierarchical integrated means by the system. Moreover,the system provides the function of infrastructure and equipment property data access,query,and management associated with hydrologic stations,as well as the integrated management of database. Practical work shows that application of the system can greatly improve the pre-warning management level of infrastructure and equipment,accelerating the hydrological informatization development.
