Zoned MANET routing protocol

HE Wen-hua · Computer Engineering and Applications Journal · 2007

A Mobile Ad hoc NETwork(MANET) is a collection of wireless mobile nodes forming dynamical and temporary network without the use of existing network infrastructure or centralized administration. The big challenge exists in designing and implements its routing protocol.Based on its feature and application request, this paper provide a zoned MANET routing protocol, zoned by the distance to MinID node, with information of the basic network topology and node’s neighbors, protocol’s request delay and control overhead is descend to O(2R).Simulation result shows that the protocol’s routing request delay and control overhead is very low.
