An Architecture of Policy-based Network Management system

This paper proposes an architecture of policy-based network management (PBNM) system adopting CORBA framework It presents the solutions for policy description, policy decision and policy enforcement in the architecture. The solutions using the CORBA service and take full advantages of C2ORBA technology such as easy to integrate with legacy system, extensible and interoperable, enabling the architecture to manage the legacy network with policy.
