Application of geographical information system in Marine Environmental Management

Application of geographical information system to improve marine environmentfal management was studied in this paper. The result showed that marine environmental management information system supported by GIS had many advantages in marine environmental management and marine environmental quality assessment, such as friendly interface, audio visual image, easy operation and maintenance and so on.
