Recognition of 2-D Axile Symmetry Shapes Based on Moment Invariants

Object shape recognition is a challenging problem in the field of pattern recognition and computer vision.Hu's moments are classical tool in the field.A novel method for the recognition of 2-D axile symmetry shapes is presented based on an improvement of Hu's moment invariants.Experiments give an encouraging high recognition rates.
