Conversion of frame types and motion vectors mapping in MPEG-2 to MPEG-4 real-time video transcoding

Conversion of frame types and mapping of correspond motion vectors must be done in MPEG-2 MP to MPEG-4 SP real-time video transcoder because of IVOP and PVOP only supported by MPEG-4 SP.Without considering resolution down sampling,a detailed method of motion vector mapping is put forward aiming at conversion of frame types.Experimental results show that this method can implement conversion of frame types efficiently keeping acceptable video quality.
