Research on Congestion Control Mechanism for Wireless Sensor Networks

Comparing to wire networks,there are many different characteristics in wireless sensor networks.So,we present an improved TCP congestion control mechanism DW-TCP,it divides the TCP congestion window into two parts: dispose congestion window and dispose error-code window.It decreased the sending rate in bad conditions,which may lead to higher reliability,unnecessary energy consumption of wireless nodes,and less system overheads.The improved mechanism considers the influences to the packet sending rate not only by the congestion but also by the corruption.
