A New Digital Watermarking Method Based on Fractal Image Coding
Hui Li · Jisuanji fangzhen · 2007
This paper proposes a new method for embedding watermarking into an image by using the partial self-comparability of an image to improve the robustness of the watermarking. Firstly the digital image to be watermarked is encoded by the traditional fractal coding .Then some range blocks are selected as watermarking block according to LDNB criterion. Finally the codebooks are modified according to the watermarking. Experimental results show that the proposed method degrades the image quality little and has robustness to image cropping, to noise disturbing, to low pass filtering and to JPEG compressing. So it is successful to use fractal image coding in digital watermarking.
