Research on a New Method of Detecting Abrupt Information in Mechanical Vibration Signal

In this paper,it is presented to detect abrupt information in the signal using singular value decomposition about track matrix of attractor reconstructed by time series. Using this method, the detection is performed according to two sets of numerical signal. Through comparing the detecting results with ones obtained by wavelet transform, the conclusion can be gained that this method is feasible, so that it provides an available tool for detecting signal's singularity.
