A Tentative Analysis of the Inner System of Datawindow in Power-builder

Datawindow is one of the most featured and powerful objects in Power\|builder. Each datawindow has three interactive buffer areas. The data processing in datawindow is only directed at the data in buffer areas with no direct influence on that in database. Only when the program calls for Updata function, will the datawindow engine, based on the status of data line in the buffer areas, build corresponding SQL instructions for each line of data, thus fulfilling the database operation.
