Comparative review of researches on attack grammar and attack graph model

In order to improve the security assessment of large-scale networks analysis studies are made on several network attack models and tools.Recent researches on attack graphs are summarized and then attack grammars are compared with attack graphs in the ability of network attack modeling,attack scenario expressing and scaling.In our study,we fmd that attack grammars have their advantages in applications and performance, and can supplement or even replace the prevailing attack graph approaches.We also propose the future research directions in this area.
