Some Problems Needing Attention in the Construction of University Library's Own Characteristic Database

This paper expounds the problems needing attention in the construction of university library's own characteristic database from aspects of the principles of database construction, the subject selection, the quality control and the intellectual property right protection, and advances some suggestions on solving these problems.
