The application of phase information in parameter measurement of cable insulation system

In this paper, the definition of the phase coherence, for the calculation of signal frequency decomposition process is exceptionally complex and the real-time is also poor, the local energy model based on the calculation of phase congruency is given as an alternative method, the algorithm for image edge detection based on phase information is applied to measure system to measure insulation parameters for the detected object. The experimental results show that the algorithm for image edge detection based on phase information can obtain a better measurement results, and this system is reliable, highly accurate and easy to give solutions for measuring cable insulation layer parameters.
