D-STBC Design for SC-FDE Cooperative Transmission System with Relay Selection

A Distributed Space-Time Block-Coding(D-STBC)scheme based on Relay Selection(RS)was designed for Single Carrier Frequency Domain Equalization(SC-FDE)cooperative transmission system with multiple relays.Then performance analysis was made in the frequencyselective fading channel.By using statistical analysis of end-to-end Signal-to-Noise-Ratio(SNR),closed-form outage probability and average Bit Error Rate(BER)were obtained.Further,asymptotic analysis of the outage probability and average BER reveal that the diversity gain of the designed scheme is G=L(K+1),and Land K are the number of transmission path and relay node respectively.Monte Carlo simulation results verify the derived closed-form analytical expressions and the diversity gain in high SNR.
