Research on Public Key Cryptography and its Applications Based on Elliptic Curve

The explosive growth in the use of mobiles and wireless devices demands a new generation of PKC schemes to accommodate limitations on power and bandwidth,at the same time to provide an adequate level of security for such devices.This paper examines the use of ECC in such constrained environments and discusses the basis of its security,gives the encryption/decryption and digital signature algorithms of ECC,explores its security,and lastly,summarizes the research and application of ECC on the market today.
