Efficient evidence combination method of dispelling paradox

Dempster's rule always leads to counterintuitive results.Accordingly,this paper proposed a new combination method on the basis of advantages and disadvantages analysis of the existing improved methods.Firstly,it introduced evidence clarity into discounting evidence information.Then,it calculated the average supported degree of each proposition by weighted average.It defined the weight coefficients by evidence credibility.It proposed the new combination rule that the evidence's conflicting probability was distributed to every proposition according to its average supported degree.Finally,it used the new rule to combine the discounting evidences.Experiments show that the new combination rule can dispell the paradox and improve the reliability and rationality of the combination results.
