The Harm of Adware and Spyware and Its Countermeasure

Adware and spyware are programs that monitor and collect specific information about users and secretly report it back to one or more host computers. They are threat to network security and user privacy. This paper defines adware and spyware and discusses their functionality and its possible dangers. Then it gave some advice to prevent and remove them.
