VLSI implement of image encryption algorithm based on chaos

With the development of the technology of lager scale IC,the parallel technology for image processing has developed rapidly.An image encryption method based on baker map and logistic map was introduced,which has been improved based on VLSI,then the design architecture based on FPGA was described.At last the results of a image encryption and decryptiom system designed with a FPGA chip called xc3s1000 from Xilinx company was given,and it can process 128*128 image successfully,getting a higher speed real-time,compared with the implementation of software.
