A Bresenham—Based Integrated Efficient Line-Generating Algorithm

In order to avoid shortcomings of computation and measurement of every pixel of whole line in Bresenham algorithm,a new line-generating algorithm based on Bresenham algorithm is brought forward in this paper after the analysis of the traditional Bresenham algorithm and requirements in the line scan-conversion.The new algorithm makes full use of the symmetry,direction and property of segment in the line-generating process.As a new integrated algorithm,it appears general and efficient in every line-generating application.
