Study on Several Key Factors of Fluencing the Directivity of Ultrasonic Transducer Array

In the directional audio parametric array transmitting system,there needs several ultrasonic transducer array elements to constitute the transmitting array.The number and placement of the array elements have a major impact on the directivity of the transmitting array.The directivity of a single array element and the directivity of the transducer array with different shape have been studied in this work.The simulation results have shown that the single transducer array element has more obvious directivity with the size larger than the wavelength,while the directivity of rectangular transducer array is superior to the circular transducer array in condition of the same size and transducer numbers.The increase of the element number of the transducer array is favorable to suppressing the sidelobe and improving the directivity.
