Such dishonesty as making false statistical data greatly impairs and hinders the development of socialist market economy in China.Honesty truth and are the fundamental requirements for statistical work. So in order to make statistical work play its own role in socialist construction, it is essential to reform its management system, improve statistical statutes, enhance professional morality of statisticians, advocate honesty and reliability and reestablish good reputation in the statistical work.
