Exploring the safety factors of prevention engineering of sand-sliding slope based on experiments

By means of sand-pile experiment with one slope in the critical state,the sliding dynamic characteristics of sand-sliding slope are discussed.It is found that the sand-pile which is built by the non-uniform sands shows diversified statistical power-law,whereas the large-scale !avalanches of the uniform sand-pile present normal distribution and quasi-cycle characteristics.Some regularities such as the sliding risk and the safety factors of prevention engineering are presented theoretically based on the two dynamic characteristics of slide.And it is suggested that the safety factor of countermeasures of non-uniform granular sand-sliding slope be greater acutely than the factor of uniform granular slope,along with the lessening of sliding probability a.If the demand of countermeasures'reliability is higher,the increase of safety factor is higher prominently.
