The formation mechanism of bioelectric potential in the body of plants ,the rese arch results of bioelectric activation in domestic laborato ries ,and earthquakes of observation of silk tree are introduced . The influencing factors of anomalou s variety of bioelectric potential and the relation with earthquakes are analyze d . Using the anomalous variety of bioelectric potential of silk tree ,earthquake may be predicted , because there are many complicated influencing factors of bie lectric potentialin the body of plant,the judgement of earthquake precursor sh ould synthesize other ob servation item in the earthquake prediction .
