Outage and Capacity Analysis of Opportunistic Relaying Network in Rayleigh Fading Channels with Hardware Impairments

Physical transceivers have hardware impairments that create distortions which degrade the performance of communication systems.The outage performance of the system is analyzed in opportunistic relaying network.Opportunistic relay selection is that the relay node is selected depending on the whole instantaneous channel information.Specifically,the exact closed-form expression for the outage probability and the approximate expression for the ergodic capacity of amplify-and-forward( AF) relaying network with hardware impairments are derived over Rayleigh fading channel,which provide a fast and efficient means to evaluate the impact of hardware impairments on the system performance.In addition,simulation results and intuitive discussions are provided to show the correctness of the analytical results.
