An Information Acquisition Method for Wind Turbine Generators Based on MMS

Incompatible data between the wind turbine generators and the supervisory control and data acquisition(SCADA) system impedes the project expansion and technical upgrading.An unified information model is urgently needed.On the basis of an IEC 61400-25 and manufacture message specification(MMS) standard wind farm communication software,a wind turbine information model acquisition method is presented.The architecture and interaction flow of the communication software are introduced.The information model of wind turbine generators is described.The restructure of wind turbine generator information model in the SCADA system is presented in terms of service logic,mapping of abstract communication service interface(ACSI) services to MMS services,and the construction of MMS protocol data unit(PDU).
