Identical permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) systems, with chaotic characteristics, are selected as nodes to construct a linearly coupled complex dynamical network, and a synchronous control method for realizing the synchronization of PMSM networks is studied. This method designs the proportional controller for adjusting direct-and quadrature-axis stator voltage of PMSM,and presents the status equations of pinned networks based on global synchronous conditions of pinning control linearly coupled networks.Simulation results show that complex dynamical networks with the small-world or free-scale topology can be synchronously controlled to homogenous solutions via pinning a single node with a linear feedback controller, even if the coupling strength of networks and dynamic parameters of PMSM system are time-variable.This synchronous control method of motor networks has some advantages of adjustability, high efficiency and low cost.
