Water Environmental Planning System Based on MapObjects

On the base of secondary development, the structural systems analysis is the main technique of this system. Object oriented technique, component technique, Visual Basic and MapObjects are used to urban water environment programming system. This paper discusses some main technique in secondary development of GIS, and forecasts the change of water resources in different conditions. Integrated system is used in the water environment program of Huainan. It is very effective to integrate GIS and water environmental model in improving management mode, programming efficiency and the maneuverability of model.
