In this paper,the authors describes the structure,function,knowledge expression and inference mechanism of the forest disease diagnosis expert system based on the rule reasoning.Diverse skills concerning database,artificial intelligence,ASP as well as forest disease diagnosis are totally integrated and this expert system is valuable to realize forest disease intelligent diagnosis.
