Trend Curve of Fault in Generator Sets Based on Synthetic Analysis

Wang Xibin · Microcomputer Information · 2008

The trend analysis of faults in generator sets is often influenced by load variation. Especially, when the load of generator sets change obviously, the fault parameters based on vibration analysis, which are related to energy, are changing with the load ac-cordingly. So, the results of fault trend analysis are easier to be influenced. To avoid this effect, a new synthetic analysis curve to re-flect the fault deterioration trend is presented. It realizes the synthetic analysis of shape and energy and it gets the waveform factors which are not sensitive to the variation of energy by using the analysis of nondimensional parameters of waveform and values of am-plitude. The results of experiments proved that it can show the fault trend better than the traditional analysis of vibration amplitude.
