On the Solution of Block Pentadiagonal Toeplitz Linear Systems

This paper gives a new effective method to solve the block pentadiagonal Toeplitz systems of linear equations.The derivation of the result is principally based on the factorization of a block pentadiagonal Toeplitz matrix and a matrix split.The block circulant pentadiagonal linear equations are also considered.Finally,some numerical experiments are given to illustrate the effectiveness of our algorithm.
