A fuzzy and weighted improved algorithm for serious salt and pepper noise removal

Salt and pepper impulsive noise removal is an important problem in image processing.This paper presents a restoration method which based on distance and fuzzy relations theory to remove the serious salt and pepper noise pollution image.The algorithm makes up for the disadvantage of that in salt and pepper noise with high probability cases,the noise removal ability of median filtering decreases fast The simulation and comparison with other filtering algorithms show that this algorithm has better effect.
