Binary Image Processing Based on Adaptive Transform Coding with Multithreshold

Zhi Xiang Yang · 2001

Adaptive transform coding with multithreshold is applied to binary image processing. The method of quadtree partition is employed to carry out adaptive separation of the image and then region coding is adopted on the partitioned defined segments. To decrease the loss of the compressed image.the adaptive coding with multithreshold is added. The experimental results show that the binary quality of the image is higher becaase of the adoption of the method.
