Single relay selection in multi-access relay channel

It has been shown that cooperative relay selection schemes promise gains in robustness and energy-efficiency in wireless relaying networks.This paper considers multi-access relay channel(MARC) with 2 sources,N relays and 1 destination,where the half-duplexing relays perform non-regenerative network coding for the received signals from the two sources.Taking the direct links into consideration,it develops new single relay selection schemes based on best worst channel selection scheme,best signal-to-noise ratio selection scheme and best harmonic mean selection.The simulation results show that they outperform the existing schemes.
