Design and Implementation of the Fibre Channel Interface for FC SAN-Attached RAID

FC(Fibre Channel) has been used to build high-performance and high-availability SANS(Storage Area Networks) because of its advantage of high bandwidth, low delay and convenience of remote transmission, and FC RAID is one of the basic storage units of SAN. This paper introduces the design and implementation of FC-RAID 3000 that provides a feasible high-speed and high-reliability solution of massive data storage.
