Study on Integrated Land and Water Resources Management System Using Remote Sensing and GIS

This article designs an integrated land and water resources management system (ILWARMS) based on remote sensing and GIS. The ILWAMS system were integrated and established in the study area, Shihezi City, Xinjiang Autonomous Region, Which can provide the local goverment with a decision-making base. The result of the pilot study proves thai the ILWAMS system can be used to land and water resources management in other areas in Chian.
