Feature-based modeling technique of automobile panel stamping CAPP system

Feature technology is introduced into automobile panel stamping CAPP system, which is the key to improve the manufacturing level and to realize the CIMS of automobile panels gradually. Automobile panels are classified as features, and a feature representation scheme for them is established. Feature model for automobile panels is achieved by development on UGII platform based on an algorithm of automatic recognition on hole feature and mutual feature recognition, which realizes the information input of feature - based modeling technique of automobile panel stamping CAPP system.
