AES Algorithm Resistant to Differential Power-consumption Analysis

When the smartcard is executing the encryption operation,side channel information would leak through the variation of power signal,thus a countermeasure is proposed to protect implementations of AES algorithm. An 8-bit microprocessor is chosen to simulate the smartcard and implement the AES algorithm,and the DPA attack is carried out on AES smartcard when executing AddRoundKey operation. Finally,a masking technology is proposed to protect the AddRoundKey operation,and the experiment has proved its resistance to the differential power-Cconsumption analysis.
