WAVELET DENOISING BASED ON FOUR IMPROVED FUNCTIONS FOR THRESHOLD ESTIMATION

This paper presents four improved thresholding functions.They are theoretically proved to be effective to denoise impulsive noise.Simulations show that the improved soft-thresholding function is obviously better than the other three improved thresholding functions in terms of SNR and MSE.
