Analysis of Offshore Platform Towing Risk Based on Factor Analysis and BP Neural Network

The value of the risk effect factors of the process of towing operation at sea was calculated and analyzed on correlation according to the risk fault tree, taking an offshore oil towing service operation as an example. Then the towing operation risk indicators were determined. The 120 towing operation records were divided into the training sample set (90 groups) and the test sample set (30 groups). A risk identification method based on the combined method of factor analysis and BP neural network was proposed to the offshore towing operation. The results of the model was proved outstanding by network training, which showed guiding significance of the risk management of offshore towing operation.
