Design and Development of Decision Support System for Substation Project Design Based on Life Cycle Cost Theory

The decision support system for substation project design based on theory of life cycle cost has been developed in connection with the inadequacy of existing substation project cost management.It puts forward a substation project breakdown structure and cost breakdown structure which satisfies China's national conditions,and expounds the theory and methods for achieving database design,unit cost estimates and life cycle cost evaluation.The system can be used to reasonably identify and effectively control the project cost,besides,the system designed should make life-cycle cost technology applicable to a wide range of substation projects.
