Application of IAPP protocal in access point control

Among the WLAN networks,the Access Point(AP) is the most important device and its performance would affect the range and the throughput of the network greatly.Therefore,the research on this device is of great significance for WLAN system.Inter-Access Point Protocol(IAPP) specified by IEEE 802.11 WLAN working group provides recommended practice to support wireless station roaming between Access Points.The research of this paper analyzes the protocol and implements the IAPP function in an AP system.
