Facial expression analysis which classify the specific people′s faci al expression state by computer and then ascertain the subject′s inner emotiona l or ideological activities can achieve more intelligent inter-action between h uman beings and computers.Active appearance models contain a statistical model o f the shape and grey-level appearance of the human face used eigenvectors.To ma tch an image AAMs measure the current residuals and use the model to predict cha nges to the current parameters,leading to a better fit.On the research of facia l expression analysis,this paper adopts minimum distance classifier to recognize facial expression by extracted features from the image,and finally output the i dentification results.
