Dynamic Information System of Real-time Traffic Data on Beijing Road Network

As a developing metropolics, Beijing is facing unprecented opertunity and challenge in its urban traffic management. Especially in 2008, The Olympics will be held in Beijing, which bring Beijing traffic tremendous pressure.This paper intrduces the necessity and urgency of building dynamic information system of real-time traffic Data on road network, and put forward the whole architecture of the system in Beijing, covering the conception, basic structure, technical requirement, and the consruction engineering of the system, which relate to information collection subsystem, processing and analying subsystem, imformation issuing subsystem and the comprehesive synergia of the whole collectivity.
