The Fast Intra Prediction Algorithm of H.264 Based on Direction Measure

The main purpose of intra prediction is to eliminate the spatial redundancy of adjacent pixels,the current block can be predicted by adjacent block.Introduces the intra prediction of theory and algorithm of H.264 and studies the exiting improved algorithm,proposes the fast intra prediction algorithm of H.264 based on directionmeasure.Through the macro block layer division based on visual perception,proposes the fast mode decision based on direction measure in texture regions.The result shows that the coding time reduced about 45% without the verity of PSNR.This algorithm can be used in real-time video communication.
