TCP-friendly Threshold-constrained Congestion Control Protocol for Media Flows

Dong Wang · Jisuanji gongcheng · 2004

The paper proposes a threshold-constrained congestion control protocol for media flows (TC-TFRC). It uses simulations to explore performance compared with TFRC, and proves that TC-TFRC, solves the problem which TFRC meet when it is used by the media flows and network is in temporary congestion, and at the same time, TC-TFRC will not lead to continuous congestion, and keep the total TCP-friendly characteristic.
