An Improved Zerotree Coding Algorithm

An improved image coding algorithm based on SPIHT algorithm is presented. It revises the SPIHT's sorting strategy. The improved algorithm enhances the coding speed, induces the memory and improves the recovery image quality, so the improved algorithm is an efficient methode for image coding.
