Face detection based on membership and geometry feature

This paper proposes a face detection algorithm for color images in complex backgrounds.Our method combines the information of skin color with the information of face's geometry.In the YCbCr color space,the method computes the skin color membership of every pixel in the photo.Then it fits the face using the information of face's geometry with ellieps.The experimental results demonstrate successful face detection in complex backgrounds.
