With the high-performance computing from the traditional approach to network-based cluster hosts the evolution of the traditional host-based storage architecture has gradually developed to the network storage.Computing and storage separate trends are becoming evident.SAN and NAS for the inadequacies of the international community has undertaken for the new Linux cluster file system-object store file system.Expatiating file slicing technique by taking Lustre for example, and advances a file slicing method based on Lustre. As a result,it optimizes system capability by improving reading and writing bandwidth of the system.Tests shows that compared with the non-RAID file storage mechanism, file slicing technique can upgrade system capability by advancing throughput efficiency of the system.
